Particle Metrix
Count, size and characterise nanoparticles
The technology
Particle Metrix’s ZetaView Evolution uses Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis to measure the size, concentration and zeta potential of particles in suspension — one particle at a time. The Evolution adds calibration-free concentration scanning across the whole measurement volume, so results compare directly between very different samples, and up to four lasers with eleven fluorescence channels. Colocalisation NTA detects more than one marker on the same individual particle, which is what makes it possible to say which vesicles in a preparation actually carry a given pair of markers.
Where it’s used
- Extracellular vesicle / exosome quantification and QC
- Marker colocalisation on individual vesicles
- Lipid-nanoparticle (LNP) characterisation for drug delivery
- Vaccine and therapeutics quality control
- Engineered nanomaterials
