The technology
S-Sharp’s Prospect T1 is a high-frequency ultrasound system for imaging live mice and rats in real time, resolving structures down to about 30 µm. It’s a compact, tablet-based platform with the full toolkit — B-mode, M-mode, colour/power and pulsed-wave Doppler, tissue Doppler and contrast — at a fraction of the cost of comparable systems, so an individual lab can image on its own schedule instead of booking and paying for time on a shared core.
